Miss Spencer and Jordan plan May 7 wedding at First Presbyterian Church

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clark Spencer of Ridgeland announce the engagement of their daughter, Leslie Allen Spencer, to Tyler Douglas Jordan of Natchez.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth (Bill) Allen of Jackson, the late Patsy Murphy Spencer of Yazoo City and the late Leslie Jenkins Spencer of Jackson.

The future husband is the son of Lisa Jordan Dale of Natchez and Ronny Lewie Jordan of Daphne, Ala. He is the grandson of the late Josephine Baldwin Young of Natchez, the late Claude Harrison Dillingham of Natchez, the late Billie Ann Smith of Atlanta, and the late Donald H. Jordan of Columbus, Ga.

Miss Spencer graduated in 2013 from Jackson Preparatory School. She attended the University of Mississippi where she was a member of the Chi Omega fraternity. In 2018, she graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Nursing Anesthesia at the University of Alabama at the Birmingham School of Nursing.

Jordan graduated in 2011 from Cathedral High School in Natchez. He graduated from Mississippi State University, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance in 2015. While at MSU, he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order. Jordan then attended the Mississippi College School of Law, where he earned his JD and was called to the Mississippi Bar in 2019. He is a real estate transactions attorney at the Jordan Dale Law Firm, working both at Natchez and Ridgeland.

The couple will exchange vows on May 7 at Jackson’s First Presbyterian Church with a reception to follow at the Old Capitol Inn.
